“Stephen is easily one of our favourite people in the world.

He’s hilarious, generous, quirky, completely unpredictable, clever, witty, creative and to the point - because he knows what the hell he’s talking about.

We didn’t give him much direction for florals for our wedding, other than we wanted white and we wanted texture. We knew whatever he did would be in line with who he is and that’s all we could have hoped for.

In a scene so true to Stephen, he BLEW OUR TINY BRAIN BOXES by creating four of the most beautiful arrangements and outrageous spaces we’d ever seen. And we’ve seen a lot.

I snuck out of the house during prep and found our bar arrangement. I was so excited that I just started to squeal and then would not stop yelling Stephen’s name. I saw him across the property in the marquee, huge grin spread across his head, waving his big arms at me and I just broke down into tears. I couldn’t believe how special it was or that he’d made it on approx 3 hours sleep.

He tried to keep the ceremony space a surprise too and then last minute changed his mind incase I bawled my eyes out when I saw that too. He wasn’t wrong. Cue the waterworks.

Flowers. COMING OUT OF THE FOUNTAIN. ARE YOU KIDDING!?

Don’t tell me that’s not the coolest thing you’ve ever heard because I won’t believe you for a second. Every single one of our guest's jaws hit the floor the second they saw it. Silence everywhere, immediately followed by ooh's and ahh's. It was AMAZING.

There are so many pieces to a wedding puzzle and I cannot even begin to express how much Stephen's flora creations contributed to the theme and the vibe and the feeling of being in a completely different universe.
